Overwhelming
Ryan and I started a 6 week diet yesterday. It's a diet I got from Curves, and what it does is increase our metabolism. It's something we should only have to do once, so once we're done, we can go back to regular eating...but we don't want to go back to the way WE used to eat, because it was pretty bad!
So we started this diet yesterday...I hate it!! I have to eat stuff I don't like, for example: onions, cottage cheese, peppers, artichoke hearts, stuff like that. I know that most of you are thinking I'm crazy because it's good food....I just can't get myself to like it, although I'm forcing myself to eat it.
My stomach has been upset since yesterday morning. It all started with breakfast...I NEVER eat breakfast! In the past, I would get nauseous if I ate breakfast, and it's true to this day. I couldn't eat all my eggs and onions for breakfast because I wanted to barf...and then I felt that way for the rest of the day...except supper, supper was good, but then after supper my stomach became upset again...and then I woke up feeling this way...and then I had to eat again. My breakfast today was back bacon and toast. Usually I would LOVE to eat that, but I had to force feed myself again.
So I have a favor to ask all of you....I NEED encouragement to be able to do this!! It seems overwhelming to know I have to do this for another 6 weeks. We spend an hour of our evening preparing for what we have to eat the next day for snacks and lunch.
Can I do this?? It's only been a day and a half.

You can do it! I believe in you! If you can, you should try to eat your breakfast all morning - little bits over a few hours so your stomach gets used to it. That might help some. Then you don't have to worry about barfing.
Also, it'll probably take your body a little while to get used to all the roughage!

Maybe the diet is intended to make you feel naseous. Then you'll eat even less and lose weight!
Hang in there.
it will start taking less time when you get used to doing it. you CAN do it and you will be thankful that you are taking care of your health. lots of people wait and have long term health related problems. just think of it in terms of health and not diet and i find it's way easier.
