Merry Christmas everyone!!
So I'm on my break right now and I gave my two week notice in this morning. My boss tried really hard to get me to stay, she offered me the same pay as my nanny job, but I didn't take it because there is just too much stress at this job. The only way I'd stay is if they exceeded my nanny pay, and she said she couldn't do that. I was kind of relieved that she couldn't, I really didn't want to stay there. So my last day will be on the 3rd, and I will have 1 day off to relax and get my bearings and I start on the 5th at my nanny job.
On Sunday Ryan and I did a lot of Christmas shopping, and we're almost done. It was a fun day, and kind of got me in a Christmas mood finally. I'm also starting to skate. I skated with the youth on Friday, it didn't last long because my feet kept cramping up. But then I went skating with the Extreem Team and I lasted a lot longer on the ice, with breaks inbetween of course. I think if I just keep skating through winter I'll eventually get the hang of it. Thank you to my father-in-law for borrowing your skates to me!! I definatly like hockey skates better than figure skates!!!

Yes. I agree that hockey skates are better. Though I've never used figure skates, just looking at them makes my ankles hurt.
Yay for skating! I'll go skating with you one day, Jae.
Also, yay for new jobs and quitting old ones. Isn't it nice to know that there will be an end to the stress from this job?
Good times. See you tomorrow!
Hey jae!!! I LOVE SKATING...I figure skated for a lot of years, and now that Taylor is learning its killing me not being able to skate with her....next year though!!! I think if I tried to wear hockey skates though I would fall, a LOT!!!
Skating's fun! And as you do more of it, you'll find that your feet hurt less and less.
