Summer

So I FINALLY got a job. I am now an employee of Starbucks. I start on Monday, and I'm very excited to be working with the beautiful coffee!! I also get to work with Sheri and Tim, which hopefully will go well! I hope that our relationships with strengthen and not get so sick of each other that we start throwing hot coffee at each other's faces.
Summer is an odd season. We seem to think that summer is a time to relax and take it easy, but it's the total opposite. We are so busy and in such a hurry to relax, that it never seems to happen. For example: Ryan and I going to the cabin.

• We have to buy and pack our food,
  
• we pack our clothes and games,
  
• do laundry so we have clean clothes to wear,
  
• booking it home after work so we can pack the car and leave before traffic is impossible,
• never ending up leaving early enough, and traffic is impossible,
• getting to the cabin and quickly getting our things unpacked so we have time to do something,
• we do something,
• we DO something ALL weekend
• we go home and feel like we didn't even have a weekend because there was absolutely no relaxing.

Isn't summer suppose to be taking a break?? Why is it that only students have breaks?? It feels like the only thing I'm taking a break from is God. It's like summer is for only the friends that I can see. I don't think I've even been to church once this summer. Guilt is taking over. I know this sounds like I'm making excuses, but do you have any idea what its like to meditate or pray when you have a cat in the apartment??? I feel stuck without my LDN or TYN. I have no outside forces to motivate me, I only have me now, and I'm so unreliable! Any suggestions?

All in all though I'm having an awesome day!! I found out that I got my job at Starbucks, and I read Krista's blog, which I think is the best news in the world right now!! I'm not going to tell you what it is, because you'll just have to read it yourself!!
