Crappiest Day EVER!!

3:00am: Got home from being a DD
8:00am: Ryan yells out to me that the fire alarm is going off (no I didn't hear it, only after I took out my ear plugs). I'm thinking, this really sucks, but I can just go back to bed after they get everything figured out. As I'm getting dressed, Ryan tells me that there's a little flood in the apartment. My thoughts: 'Aw man, now there is going to be water all over the bathroom floor and I'll have to clean it after I get up from going back to bed' I step in front of the door where our room is carpeted, which is 2 feet away from the bathroom... *SWISH* 'Oh my goodness it got all the way to the bedroom' I walk further and the carpet is wet in front of our coat closet which is 3 feet away from the bathroom. 'OK, lots of work to do today!' As I'm reaching for the door knob I look back into the kitchen and see a lake! 'Holy S#!& !!!!' We go outside and there's no fire (this happens). The maintenance man is there and I tell him about our toilet and he tells me he's going to talk to Heather. Ryan and I talk and think it's probably best if we sleep a little longer before we take on this enormous task because we are in no conscienceness to work hard at the moment.
8:20am: Alarm goes off again, and I don't bother getting up, and Ryan checks things out just to make sure there's no actual fire.
8:30am: Landlord knocks on the door telling us to quickly clean up because the water is leaking into the basement, and that's whats causing the fire alarms to go off. We start cleaning, and the mop is like putting a sponge in a swimming pool. So I take all the towels we have and threw them on the floor.
9:00am: The water is soaked up, and we realize that some of our clothes are wet as well as our towels and mats. I decide to bring the mop back downstairs so the landlords can use it for mopping the basement, and Ryan starts putting wet things in garbage bags for laundry. As I go downstairs I realize that the landlords aren't even there. A kid, age 12 is mopping up the water, and his mom is moving out the stuff on the floor. Where are the landlords??? I go back upstairs and tell Ryan we need to help them because they're doing it by themselves. I found out that the stuff in that room is all their family's, and a lot of stuff is damaged....thank goodness they have insurance!!
10:00am: We go back to our apartment and bag the rest of the wet and head out to my in-laws. So now I can relax right??
11:00am: No, of course I had to go and break the washing machine. Now I bring Reg (my father in-law) into my bad day.
1:00pm: I try to take a nap, but my bladder and phone won't let me Usually I don't answer my phone when I'm sleeping, but I'm planning my friends Stagette and need to know how many people are coming asap so I can make the proper reservations.
2:00pm: Still no sleep, but now the washing machine is working. God bless Reg and his super fix-it abilities
2:15pm: I decide I need to go home and start cleaning up out panic mess.
2:30pm: Used a shop Vac for our carpet in our bedroom.
3:00pm: No energy
3:15pm: Blogging

6:00pm: Extreme Team, and we're being a taxi cab so we can't really not go.
9:00pm: Going to an 80's social where I will get to know my new Curves co-workers...REALLY don't want to miss that because I've got my outfit and Sarah's going to do my hair....but I probably will have to.
