Hey, look at me, I blogged 2 days after my last one...I'm so proud!
Well, I had a really great evening last night. I went to TYN and we had a worship night. It was cool because my friend Sarah sang with Tim and I and my friend Jeremy was playing the wicked awesome drums. It was cool because we did all the songs that we planned and practiced, and then we took requests, and the request songs sounded better musically than the planned songs. It's weird how that happens.
So I went to the train station with my boys today, because they are really into trains right now, and I went there hoping it would be really cool for them....it wasn't. They really liked how tall the ceiling is, but thats about all that interested them. I was hoping we'd see a train go by, but I don't know if you can even see it from the building. AND the Sugar Mountain train was closed for the season. They were kind of dissapointed in my field trip I planned for them, I felt so bad.

Question of the day: Where would I take boys who are into trains on the weekdays, or what kinds of activities could I do with them?? (Don't suggest snow forts, because I already made three, and one even has a slide that I made out of ice)

Hey doll! I know you said trains, but I was actually reminded of the airplane museum in St James...its REALLY cool, and lots to see! When I worked in the daycare industry (hahaha) we took the kids there, and they loved it!!!

have your family buy a pass to the children's museum. we went there all the time at that age. there is a train you can climb in and run through...
and there is another candy store inside the forks. not quite as chi chi as sugar mtn, but great selection and cheap!

Take them to a pet store; hang out at the Forks; go to the library (the downtown library is a fun place to go); invite another nanny over with her kids and you can drink tea and eat crumpets while the children play.

I also took my kids to McD's. I'd drink a coffee and if they really wanted, I'd buy them a drink and some fries. I know. McD's is not the greatest place but a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!
