So its my birthday today. I am now 18....lol just kidding, I turned 24 today. I hate how birthdays become less and less important the older you are. Not just for other people but for yourself too. It totally doesn't feel like my birthday. It could be because I'm at work, and that the kids are excited for halloween and are SUPER hyper and do thier best not to listen. It sucks having a bad day at work on my birthday.
My in-laws are ordering in chinese food today. They spoil me so much!! I won't get to see 'my' family until Nov. 11, so its nice having another family to celebrate with me.
So this last weekend I had an LDN retreat (Leadership Development Network), we have one every month. It was really good! It helps me to do a lot of thinking about myself, leadership and the Bible, so right now my brain hurts. I had a super rotten sleep because I didn't realize my heat wasn't on and I was freezing, and I haven't caught up. I'll need to go to bed early tonight!!!
Tomorrow I have to dress up for work. I'm going to be a rock star, and my friend Ashley from work is letting me borrow this AMAZING shirt she has. I'm super excited!! I'll make sure I take a picture and post it sometime in the next few days!

So I haven't blocked in a while again. Not much new has been happening lately. I'm STILL sick and I can't seem to shake it. If I could afford medication, I would see a doctor because I'm pretty sure that I have a sinus infection. Last time I went in for pink eye meds, and the doc said I had a sinus infection and it wasn't NEARLY as bad as it is now. It feels like all I do is blow my nose.
So Ryan and I cleaned our apartment (except our room) and it looks great. We had recently moved around our furniture and got a china cabinet and put pictures up. Now it looks like an apartment, not a bachelor apartment. I feel so much better when it looks nice. Next we have to tackle our room, which will probebly take us a few days. Its the room we put everything in when we can't find a spot for it. We need to work on that! Any tips? Oh, and Courtney and Kurt are giving us a bed frame, but its a little small so we need ply wood to go under it. Anyone know where to get that stuff for cheap? We need it queen size.
Anyway, my break is almost over. Its so hard being at work feeling like this. I have a staff meeting after work too so its going to be a LONG day!!!!! Please pray that I get better soon!!!!

So I haven't written a blog in a while. I think it's because I'm sick and my mind is always blank because it hurts to think (it hurt to think of that). It feels like I've been sick for months...although it's probebly true. By the time I'm done working at the daycare I'll probebly be immune to everything. I need chicken noodle soup!
Cathie Chapman told me that if I get going on this Mary Kay stuff, I could probebly make enough money to quit my job. So all of you who read this (except for you who buy from Cathie), you should really consider throwing a Mary Kay party. Its the perfect time too because its almost Christmas shopping season...I know a few who have already started. Also, if you throw a party you get %10 off the product. Theres my Mary Kay plug!

I can't believe its snowing. I hate the cold so much!!!! A lot of people love snow and winter because there's so much to do...but for a girl like me, it's awful! I can't ski, snowboard, or skate. All I can do it toboggan, and not for very long because I get too cold. So for me its sucks because I'm stuck inside, it get dark early, and then I get cranky.
The one thing I like about winter is Christmas. I love how when you drive around you see all the Christmas lights from people's houses. I love the smells of Christmas baking, I love how I get to see my families and theres always good food! I also love the smell of my mom or Doris's (my mom in law) house near Christmas time...they always do awesome baking, and even if I can't eat it, I love smelling it.
So other then Christmas, I hate winter. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can enjoy winter more, or just getting in a better mood because I'm stuck inside?? Maybe you can all call me and do something with me!!!!

Well, this is the last day of my 6 day weekend. My weird rash thingy on my hands are almost gone. It was the worst Friday night, I couldn't close my hands and it started to go up my left forearm, but Saturday night they started to fade away and they're not sore anymore, they're just getting a little itchy.
The kids at my daycare probebly miss me...I can't say I missed them! I love them all dearly, but its SOO nice to have a mental break! Its also nice not getting beat up by them too. The staff probebly missed me the most! We are too cheap to get subs, so even if one of them was sick, they wouldn't be allowed to take a day off with me gone.
Well, its almost 1am Monday morning and at 9:30am we're going to Pembina Hills for a hike with my family. Sat - Sun we were at the lake with Ryan's family, and that was fun. Doris made 6 pumpkin pies. We all LOVE pumpkin pie, but we only ate 3 out of the 6 of us (we had pumpkin pie for dessert Sat supper, Sun lunch and Sun supper). Now my mom made pumpkin pie as well. I think pumpkin pie is my favorite pie.
Well I should be getting to bed even though I'm not tired. Maybe I'll read for a bit. Krista gave me this book on Intersession Prayer and I really enjoy it. It answers a lot of my questions about prayer...even though I've only read 3 chapers so far. Its really well written too, I usually get bored reading these kinds of books, but not this one!

Ok, I'm writing in response to one of Linda's comment on my second blog and a TV show I saw. Linda wrote, Ryan and I should have kids so they will be better behaved than my daycare kids...and the show I watched was A Baby Story. All I have to say is HEEEEEEEEEEEL NO. I don't think I'll ever be ready to have a kid. What your body has to go through, all your freedom will be gone...don't get me wrong, I love babies, there's nothing I love more than my niece and nephews, but wow, 24-7???? Yikes!!! Ok moms, let me in on the secret. What made you want kids? Again, don't get me wrong, eventually I want to have kids, but it scares the living sh!t out of me!!!!!!!!

So I get a super super long weekend this week, but not voluntarily. Yesterday I stayed home from work because I had a crazy fever. During my fever I deveoped wierd painful bumps on my hands and feet. The workers at my daycare think its hand, feet mouth disease...although its never this bad with kids. I went to the walk-in clinic and the doctor doesn't think it is...he actually has no idea what it is so he told me not to go back to work until Tuesday. I started with 8 bumps last night, and now I have over 30. Most of them are really small, but a few are big. The small ones are still painful. They look sort of like blisters and feel like deep slivers. If any of you have any idea what this might be, feel free to comment!
Anyway, feel free to call me during the day today and tomorrow since I'll be at home, probebly cleaning, and being bored. I'm totally not used to being at home so much, I'm getting a little bit of cabin fever. Its a good thing I have class tonight or I'd be going nuts!!

Well, its been a long but super fun weekend!!! Sandi and Adrian's wedding was SO beautiful!!! Also very original! They had cool music and Adrian rode in on a motorcycle. The reception was also a lot of fun! I didn't fail as an MC and the dance was awesome! I have some pictures to post, but I'm waiting for some people to ok their pictures being on the net. So hopfully my next post will have lots of pictures on it.
Today (Sunday) we had my nephew Rowans family birthday party. It was fun, he's so cute!! While the little ones napped, my dad, Ryan, Mike my bro, Willow my niece and I did Geo cache. Its a GPS thing, my dad has one.
Anyway, all in all, I had a great weekend!!! I needed one of those! The job is way too stressful. You'd think that at a daycare all you have to do is play with sweet children......NOPE!!!! Sure there are a lot of sweet kids, but man, all 32 of them know how to push me off the edge. Somedays I come home to Ryan saying there is no way I'm having kids. I'll probebly change my mind after working at the daycare....but kids won't be in my future for a very very long time (sorry Kimmi).
Well, I'm needing sleep...even though I slept till noon today YAAAAAAAAAY. My body is very happy with me today...yay sleep!
