OLD!!

So I joined this facebook thing, and I've found some old friends that I had in high school, and it was awesome....but now I'm kind of sad. I realize that the life I had in high school does not exsist anymore. I feel that everyone I loved and cared about back then has developed new lives and probebly don't really remember me unless they see me. Am I alone in this, or does this happen to more people? I feel so depressed about it. I honestly loved those people with all my heart, and now we've forgotten about eachother. I REALLY hope that it doesn't happen through my entire life....having to love people, and then we drift apart and I eventually miss them dearly. I don't even want to imagine being seperated with the people I have in my life now!
I FEEL SO OLD!!

Spring Break

So it's Spring Break. I remember when spring break meant that there would be a time of relaxation and fun....NOT ANYMORE!!! I found out on Monday that it was spring break and the boys didn't have any preschool or playgroups and I had to find 2 activities a day for them to do all week long, and that they needed to be around other children as well. Oh yeah, and the activities had to be free or super cheap. So needless to say, I'm a busy girl this spring break.
I have found some stuff for the boys to do, like the festival of fools at the forks, and they have a Kids Club at the St. Vital Mall, and I have made a play date with a family from their church. I am SO thankful the weather is nice enough to spend an hour outside without complaints of being cold. Although, the huge pile of mud in their backyard DOES put a damper on things.
My first paragraph in this blog makes it look like my boss is kind of a jerk....she's totally not, she forgot too, and she did make a suggestion for us to go to the Fire Truck Museum on Monday, but unfortunately, I called and they were closed.
So I'll keep trucking along this spring break and hopefully I won't loose my mind.....WHAT?? It's ONLY TUESDAY??

It's been a while

Wow, I haven't blogged for so long! I bet I've lost all my readers!!
Well, things with me have gotten a lot better!!! Especially since the weather is getting better, my mood has gotten better! I'm definatly a much happier person in the summer time...don't ask me why I live in Winterpeg. I can't wait until I can take the boys to the park, and I can just sit and read in the sun while they play. Of course there will be days I'll be playing harder than they are!
I'm very excited to have a few days off after the Easter weekend to catch up on things. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to do my LDN reading/homework. Also, feel free to call me on those days, because I love hooking up with my fellow humans.
Other than that, not much else is new in my life...HAVE A GREAT SPRING!!!!!!!

10 Ways My Boys Make Me Laugh

Here are 10 ways the boys I nanny for make me laugh. Do to privacy issues, I won't write their names, but I will call the 2 year old '2' and the 4 year old, yup you guessed it, '4'.

1. When 2 cuddles my food when I'm wearing fuzzy socks
2. When I hide, and 4 walks by and I jump out and growl as loud as I can, and he gets so scared that he screams and falls on his bottom, and he doesn't get mad at me even though I'm doubled over laughing.
3. When we're playing hide and seek, and when I say 'ready or not', they tell me where they're hiding, and get really impressed when I find them so quickly.
4. When they think it's a treat for THEM when they walk on my back.
5. When 2 calls a bumble bee a 'gum ball bee'.
6. When 2 calls a library a 'why berry'.
7. When 4 imitates me
8. When 2 runs into the walls (unless he's hurt of course).
9. When they take of their shirts to do the dishes, and then they flex their "muscles".
10. When they're all bundled up outside, and I come up in front of them and push them over into the snow, and they get up, and I push them again, and this goes on for a while, and the whole time I'm laughing hysterically because they don't learn.....why am I allowed to be a nanny?? (Don't worry, they laugh too)
