So the daycare offered me more money to stay. It would be more than my nanny position and benifits which nannies don't have. They offered me $15 an hour for five hours during the day to work one on one with a child, and then $9 an hour for the other 2 hours I would work. I decided to write a pro and con list whether to stay or not, and still, the con list prevailed. Although I would have more money and have benifits, there is a lot that makes me want to leave. ESPECIALLY the day I had today. OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking and contimplating all day, and then I got beat by 3 children and the whole daycare was going through utter chaos....and THAT made my decision for me!! I let my boss know that I wasn't willing to go through a day like that again!!
Anyway, I need more sleep. The last week has been bad for sleeping. For some reason I can't seem to get to sleep. I'm super tired all day, and then it comes to 10pm and I'm super awake. I don't understand it, but today I'm going to try and sleep even if I'm not tired. We'll see what happens.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
So I'm on my break right now and I gave my two week notice in this morning. My boss tried really hard to get me to stay, she offered me the same pay as my nanny job, but I didn't take it because there is just too much stress at this job. The only way I'd stay is if they exceeded my nanny pay, and she said she couldn't do that. I was kind of relieved that she couldn't, I really didn't want to stay there. So my last day will be on the 3rd, and I will have 1 day off to relax and get my bearings and I start on the 5th at my nanny job.
On Sunday Ryan and I did a lot of Christmas shopping, and we're almost done. It was a fun day, and kind of got me in a Christmas mood finally. I'm also starting to skate. I skated with the youth on Friday, it didn't last long because my feet kept cramping up. But then I went skating with the Extreem Team and I lasted a lot longer on the ice, with breaks inbetween of course. I think if I just keep skating through winter I'll eventually get the hang of it. Thank you to my father-in-law for borrowing your skates to me!! I definatly like hockey skates better than figure skates!!!

So this last week has been really good for Ryan and I! On Thursday I found out that I got the nanny job, and on Friday Ryan found out he got the job at Value Village. This was a total answer to my prayers!!! Ryan starts his job tomorrow (Wednesday) and I start my new job January 5th. So hopfully in this new year our finances will become a lot better!
So it's been hard for me to get into a Christmas mood this year. I'm not exactly sure why. I have my decorations up, but that didn't change anything. This time of year I miss being at home with my parents. My mom always does crafts near Christmas, and just the smell of the pinecones or whatever she's making is so good and Chirstmasy. She also does baking that smells good, and I help her and she always gave me the fun things to do, like rolling the popcorn into balls or putting the sprinkles on the cookies. And the tree...let me tell you about my mom's Christmas trees!! She is like a professional Christmas tree decorator!! It's so beautiful you just want to sit there for hours and stare at it. Why is Christmas so much better when you're small? I LOVE Christmas and I'm trying so hard to get into the Christmas spirit or mood, but for some reason its so hard. Hopfully when I start my Christmas shopping and wrap all the gifts I'll start getting excited! Although I don't have a big tree to put them under, I just have a 2 footer.
Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying your Christmas season! I think I'm going to buy some Christmas sented candels!!

I GOT THE JOB

Hey all,
Its been a while!!! I guess you're probebly wondering whats going on with the nanny situation. Well, the first interview I had with the baby boy hasn't gotten back to me yet, and so I've kind of given up on that one. The second one went well, but they decided not to have a nanny because of medical reasons for the toddler. I also had an interview yesterday and things look REALLY hopeful! She told me that I was the best one yet, and she knows some of my references so thats a plus!! She also only lives 8 blocks from me. She has 2 boys a 2 year old and a 4 year old. She's into getting them out of the house and into the community which is awesome!! Another plus is that they're Christian, so I can totally be myself. The only downside to this one is that it's only for 5 months because she's pregnant. I told her my concern about that and she told me that she's had 5 families wanting her old nanny when she's done with her...but she's going to Mexico so they will most likely want me when I'm done there. I would like to ask for prayer that I make the right decision!! As you've probebly guessed I really want to take the nanny job, but I want to make sure that God wants me there!!
Anyway, not much more new with me! Pray hard that Ryan gets a job because we have so little money that we may have to cancel Christmas...just kidding, Christmas isn't about the gifts...but I LOVE getting people gifts!! So those of you who are close to me and I don't get you anything for Christmas, don't take it personally, it's just an impossibility as of this year. I love you all!!
